A Classic Ethereal Editorial

about the project

Omaria approached me in late 2022 with a vision for a gorgeous editorial shoot at the Rialto Theatre in Tampa. I was immediately drawn to the unique color palette and the use of the former-theatre-turned-event space. The stone and earth-toned color palette set the tone for the suite, but I didn’t want it to feel cold. To warm it up, I took The Lustre semi-custom suite and printed that in a champagne foil on handmade paper (shoutout to Bailey for the wonderful print work). For the reply card, I drew inspiration from the arched entryway to the stage. This shape framed the reply card layout, tying in a nod at the venue. Since this space was a former theater, I wanted to honor the history of the property. The envelopes are lined with Degas’ The Rehearsal Onstage and the ballet theme was carried into the vintage postage set. A floral printed vellum wrap and champagne silk twine wrapped the suite together with more ethereal, organic textures. The outer envelope featured white ink calligraphy, a neutral vintage postage set, and a white wax seal pressed with dried baby’s breath - a nod to the floral installations throughout the space.

At the reception tables, each place was set with a scroll place card. Our couple dined by candlelight, surrounded by gorgeous rentals, champagne towers, and lots of earthy textures. This vendor team was professional, vision-focused, and wonderfully gifted in bringing this special day together. We are honored to have this project published in Issue 29 of MunaLuchi Bridal Magazine.
